With close to 15 years of creative regional experience in a major record label, advertising agency, and telecommunications, Juvita Tatan Wan chose to move home to Sarawak and focus on creating meaningful encounters between people and cultures. She is the co-founder of The Tuyang Initiative, an award-winning arts management company focused on Borneo indigenous cultural heritage. She is also the producer and lead for MYY Living Arts, a multidiscipline arts platform and movement in Miri, Sarawak (Borneo).

The Tuyang Initiative is a community-led arts management company working with Borneo indigenous cultural guardians. An accredited social enterprise, its purpose is to provide creative and cultural industry skill sets through their work for an opportunity at generating meaningful livelihood and driving cultural continuity.

MYY Living Arts kicked off in March 2021 as a public arts program funded by CENDANA's (Cultural Economy Development Agency) 'Art In The City - Public Art Commissioning Program'. At the core, the aim is to surface Miri-based artists and facilitate opportunities for growth and collaboration. MYY is a play on Miri’s airport code and is pronounced 'my'.
